Hiking in combination with the Donnerkogel-Cable car

Floating towards the pleasure of hiking

With the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg-Lungötz you can easily reach the hiking area Dachstein-West around Gosaukamm and Zwieselalm, one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the Lammertal in the Salzburg Land. The mountain station at 1,475 m above sea level is the ideal starting point for cozy hut tours, beautiful hikes over flowering alpine pastures and for wonderful panoramic views over far-reaching valleys, as well as on majestic mountains, such as Dachstein and Grossglockner.

Free ride

The SalzburgerLand Card is accepted and is valid once for the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg! Guests with the guest card from Annaberg-Lungötz can use the Donnerkogelbahn free of charge during the operating hours - as often as you like! (Exceptions: special trips) Guests with a further Tennengau guest card receive a reduced fare. Every Friday there is the opportunity to take part in a guided hike in the footsteps of the former Austrian Empress Elisabeth, called Sisi. She has already spent her summer vacation here in the Zwieselalm area.
