|Postalm panorama road
The Postalm is Austria's largest alpine meadow region. Along a wonderful road offering many panoramic views you will reach the Almblumenweg, an easy circular trail that takes about one hour to complete.
Just a few kilometres away in Abtenau is the Karkogel summer toboggan run. The 2-kilometre long run offers tobogganing fun for the whole family.
|Brunos Bergwelt (Brunos Mountain World)
In Brunos mountain world there are easy and medium-difficult trails with bear adventures and information points for families to follow. The alpine area at 1.450 m above sea level is easily reached with the Russbach Hornbahn cable car.
The thundering waterfall is an impressive show of nature and a very popular day trip destination in the Tennengau.
|Grossglockner High Alpine Road
Enjoy an unforgettable drive up the highest mountain in Austria - the Grossglockner. The high alpine road will take you over 48 kilometres with 36 hairpin bends to 2.506 metres above sea level.
|Eisriesenwelt Werfen (World of the Ice Giants)
Not far from Annaberg-Lungötz is the largest ice grotto in the world. Visit this fascinating natural spectacle in Werfen and descend into a world of rocks and ice (warm clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended).
Annaberg-Lungötz is in a convenient location for you to reach the beautiful Salzkammergut quickly. Towns and villages around the Salzkammergut are also worth a visit, e.g. Hallstatt.
|Gosausee (Gosau Lake)
Gosau Lake lies picturesquely framed by mighty mountain peaks. A lovely 1.5 to 2-hour hike takes in three lakes starting from the Vorderen Gosausee past the Gosauseelacke to the Hinteren Gosausee (230 metres difference in altitude along partly rough, stony forest trails).
It's not only families that find Salzburg Zoo an interesting place to visit. About 800 animals representing 140 different species await you.

|Schloss Hellbrunn (Hellbrunn Palace)
The charming palace with its vast park and famous trick fountains is a wonderful place to visit for both young and old.
|Salzburger Freilichtmuseum (open air museum)
Just a few kilometres outside Salzburg in Grossgmain you can see 60 original buildings from agriculture, handicrafts, commerce and industry of the last 500 years, as well as tractors, working equipment, handicraft demonstrations and much more.

With the Salzkammergut peak ticket, three of the most popular mountain peaks in the Salzkammergut are open to you. The mountain cable car will carry you comfortably to the Feuerkogel in Ebensee, the Dachstein-Krippenstain in Obertraun and the Zwieselalm in Gosau.
