Hay figures trail in Annaberg

Funny characters along the way

On a hike along the atmospheric "Hay figures trail" from the parking lot "Kopfbergbahn" you become acquainted with different Lammertal hay figures, which are designed each year in an imaginative way for the world's largest HeuART parade and have found their permanent home here after the festival. By the way, the Hay figures trail is part of the FunGolf Course.

Stairs to the Kopfberg

200 steps closer to heaven ...

Some also lovingly call it the "belly-legs-butt-way", because the 200 steps are tough.
The ascent takes place either from the village via HayART-trail, then in direction of Jausenstation Harreit and shortly before the staircase branches off left into the forest. From there it goes through a grove and glades to the highest point of the Kopfberg, where a figure ot the patron saint of the village, St. Anna, carved from Swiss stone pine wood, invites you to breathe and recharge your batteries in a real place of strength.
