Cross-country skiing in the Lammertal guarantees sporting challenges. In the whole Lammertal and on the Postalm you will find about 130 tracked kilometres of cross-country trails. Here you can enjoy seclusion and peace in the midst of almost untouched nature. You are particularly close to nature. While you glide or skate over the Lammertaler cross-country ski runs, you breathe spicy mountain air. You can marvel at snow-covered forests and mountains and, with a bit of luck, perhaps spot a native forest animal among the fir trees.

Especially recommendable is the Neubachtalloipe in Lungötz. This location with changing facilities has been awarded the Tennengau seal of approval and has over 10 kilometers of skating track and more than 10 kilometers of classic track.
The Lammertal cross-country-trail leads 6 kilometers slightly uphill (classic) into the area of the Lammer origin.
On the 4.5 km long Aualmloipe you can follow your tracks (classic) at the foot of the impressive Tennengebirge.

Cross-country skiing in Annaberg-Lungötz is also possible in the evening. A part of the Neubachtalloipe (2.4 kilometers long lap) is passable during the season after dusk until 09.00 pm with floodlight. Both the classic track and the skating track lead in a medium-heavy loop towards Koppensau and back again. Thanks to floodlights, the snow and the white-covered trees and bushes begin to glitter magically, a special cross-country treat! The Bischofsmütze, probably the most striking peak of the Gosaukamm, watches the evening bustle majestically all along the way.

The ticket entitles you to use the Neubachtal trail, the floodlit trail and the Lammertal trail in Lungötz, as well as all trails in St. Martin am Tennengebirge. Available from Sportprofi Schwarzenbacher (across from the cross-country ski trail in the Neubachtal), from Gasthof Schichlreit and in the Annaberg-Lungötz tourist office. Please have the map ready for the trail inspector.

Cross-country taster course
The gentle movement is easy to learn
People who can walk, it is said, can also run cross-country. The SportProfis take care of the right technique for this joint-gentle and endurance-promoting winter sport. Every week, Hias and Gerald Schwarzenbacher from Sport Profi Lungötz go on the cross-country ski trail for a cross-country taster course. Stretching, running on the stand, jumping up and down and you are warmed up for the first steps on the track. You will see how much fun you can have in moving in an uncomplicated and professionally led group. This taster course is completely free for guests with the Annaberg-Lungötz guest card!
