The most successful ski racer of all time, who comes from Annaberg, announced his retirement from the international ski circus. It's the end of a sensational career:

- 2 x Gold and 1 x Silver at Olympic Games
- 7 x Gold und 4 x Silver at World Championships
- 6 x Austrian "Sportsman of the year"
