With the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg-Lungötz you can easily reach the hiking area Dachstein-West around Gosaukamm and Zwieselalm, one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the Lammertal in the Salzburg Land. The mountain station at 1,475 m above sea level is the ideal starting point for cozy hut tours, beautiful hikes over flowering alpine pastures and for wonderful panoramic views over far-reaching valleys, as well as on majestic mountains, such as Dachstein and Grossglockner.

Olympic Champion Marcel Hirscher is with you

Comfortably by Donnerkogelbahn to the wonderful far and view and that with prominent accompany: The gondola with the No. 1 was dedicated to Marcel Hirscher, the eight times overall World Cup winner, world champion and double Olympic champion.

The gondola with the number 37 was designed by Prof. Gottfried Kumpf, an internationally renowned artist born in Annaberg.

Another gondola shows the successful team of EC Red Bull Salzburg.

Reduction on the ride

For guests with a guest card from Annaberg-Lungötz, the use of the Donnerkogelbahn Annaberg is reduced on every trip in summer:

Adult: € 24,-
Children: € 13,20

The reduction with the guest card also applies to journeys on the Hornbahn in Rußbach including entry to Bruno's mountain world. (Please note operating hours)
The SalzburgerLand Card is accepted and is valid once for the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg!

The transportation of baby carriages on the Donnerkogelbahn Annaberg and Hornbahn Russbach is free of charge. Dogs can be transported on the summer lifts. Dogs must be kept on a leash and muzzle. Fee: € 7.50. The dog ticket is only available at the ticket office! /The ticket for an ascent and descent on the Donnerkogelbahn Annaberg is also valid for the descent on the Hornbahn Rußbach.
The pick-up train "Bummelzug Ameisenexpress" (from the Hornbahn mountain station - at an additional cost) is in operation.

Walking in the footsteps of Empress Sisi

From the middle of July every Thursday there is the opportunity to take part in a guided hike in the footsteps of the former Austrian Empress Elisabeth, called Sisi. She has already spent her summer vacation here in the Zwieselalm area.

Every quarter of an hour (every 15 minutes) the Gosaukammbahn takes hikers from Gosausee to the Zwieselalm / in the Dachstein West hiking region. In the mountain station of the Gosaukammbahn free cross-country pushchairs are available to borrow.
